Octavia de Weerdt is the general director of NBIP and NBIP-NaWas (National Service Organization Internet Providers). NBIP-NaWas is an initiative of Dutch Internet Providers Community and is a not-for-profit organization. NBIP offers high tech Cyber Security services and runs the NaWas – the only National Dutch DDoS Scrubbing center. NBIP also acts as the linking partner for public and enterprise knowledge exchange. Octavia has an IT entrepreneurial background with education and experience in the Hosting, Cloud and Cyber Security field. She speaks regularly at national and international Conferences and is passionate about a safe digital space and how we can achieve this through collaboration and radical transparency. Octavia is CISA and CISM certified.
