The Community Pass means free CloudFest Global registration for active members of the community, dedicated to helping the internet infrastructure industry grow, thrive, and meet whatever challenges may come. Qualified attendees will be able to register for CloudFest Global at no charge, while also taking part in the exclusive leadership research that powers our quarterly State of the Cloud Reports.

CloudFest is a community platform, and it only truly comes alive when everyone contributes. Whatever you share through the State of the Cloud survey comes straight back to you as insights that don’t exist anywhere else—because there’s no other dedicated internet infrastructure community at this scale. You are both creating and receiving highly exclusive business intelligence.

Yes, you can customize your festival experience with the Lunch Add-On. You can also upgrade to a VIP pass, which includes lunch as well as the full set of VIP perks as described in that ticket type.

Participation in this research is your contribution to the community. Should you not take part at least once before CloudFest Global starts, your pass will be voided.

We introduced the Lunch Pass for a few reasons. This new system helps us plan for demand at the onsite lunch restaurants, allows us to maintain quality while serving so many attendees (nearly 11,000 last year): you can eat at the Europa-Park restaurants with your Lunch Pass or hit the pay-as-you-go food trucks. Snacks and refreshments during exhibition hours and at our networking parties are still free.

Lunch at our onsite restaurants is included with the VIP Pass, Vendor Pass and Vendor VIP Pass.

The VIP Pass is like box seats at the big game. Besides all the benefits of the Standard Pass, you’re also invited to VIP-only networking events, dinners, and sessions, as well as the VIP Lounge during each day of CloudFest Global. You’ll also have access to our fleet of shuttle cars to quickly get you to where you need to go, as well as concierge services at your hotel.

Please note this pass is only for CloudFest Global’s core audience (cloud service providers, hosters, MSPs, enterprise IT, web agencies and WordPress developers).

The Vendor Pass is for attendees who sell to CloudFest Global’s core channel of internet infrastructure providers. While it is not free of charge, the Vendor Pass has perks that the Community Pass does not; such as:

– The ability to book 1on1 Meeting Tables
– Badge scanning at Europa-Park, to create and download lead lists using your smartphone
– Inclusion in a dedicated Vendor Register so attendees can find and connect with you

If you become a CloudFest Global partner, some Vendor Passes will be included in your partnership package to give to your top customers and leads—and your team has their own passes included, of course.

When you register for CloudFest Global, you’ll start by creating an account through which you will manage the whole experience, from getting your pass to booking your hotel and managing your invoices. This gives you more control, and eliminates the repetitive elements that can make registration annoying.

CloudFest is not just a festival: it’s a year-round experience with events around the world as well as online workshops and quarterly data-analysis publications. Through your CloudFest Account, you can access all of it. The best part is that whenever you register for anything we’re producing, you won’t have to keep filling in your details over and over again.

(If you’ve attended CloudFest before, think of this as a version of the Registration Tool that remembers who you are!)

As many as you want, but all those passes might not be free! For those eligible for the Community Pass, a select number registrants from your company will be accepted. Additional registrants will have to purchase a pass.

This ensures that as many eligible companies as possible get a chance to send some team members for free, while also allowing us to produce an event at the level of quality that the community expects. Depending on how many people you wish to bring, it may make more sense to explore the many partnership options that can help you shine. 

There is a limit of 20 free Community Passes per company.

At the risk of repeating what we wrote in the previous answer, this is so as many eligible companies as possible can send some team members for free—while also allowing us to produce an event at the level of quality that the community expects. Depending on how many people you wish to bring, it may make more sense to explore the many partnership options that can help your brand shine. 

The CloudFest Global community is a tightly-knit B2B crowd, and the sessions and networking topics are not for a lay audience. If those outside the industry showed up, networking would be less helpful for you in reaching your business goals. When registering, be sure to use your company email address and include your LinkedIn profile.

We check each new registration to be sure that you’re professionally active in the Cloud and its adjacent industries. Normally this takes us less than 48 hours.

After checking your registration, we could not confirm that you’re affiliated with a company or initiative that works in the Cloud. You are welcome to reapply when your role changes, or if you applied with your personal email by mistake.

Since we check each new registration to make sure you’re active in the Cloud industry, free and personal email services make this impossible to do with the number of registrations we receive.

Yes, of course! When you open your CloudFest Account, you’ll see the upgrade options. Either enter a VIP voucher code (if you have one), or upgrade your pass yourself using your credit card/PayPal. Either way, it only takes a moment.

You can find your invoices in your CloudFest Account. To access your account, check the email you received just after submitting your registration.

You can add your festival pass, book the Airport Express shuttle, manage your hotel reservations.. and this account follows you across all of our festivals, events, and online gatherings!

Our free shuttle bus service takes you from Offenburg’s main train station to Europa-Park in comfort and style. Your registration confirmation email also serves as your shuttle bus ticket, so be sure to keep it.

CloudFest Global attendees are decision-makers in the cloud computing and internet infrastructure space (“the Cloud”), as well as the industries directly adjacent, such as telecommunications, managed services, enterprise IT, etc. None of the content is geared towards a lay audience.

Go to your CloudFest Account page and click the “Forgot Password” button. But don’t reset it to “password” or “12345” or anything like that, okay?

While hotel bookings are nonrefundable, you can book additional nights through your CloudFest Account. (We recommend being here for the opening and closing parties, obviously! FOMO is a painful feeling.)

Yes, and we’ve streamlined the process. Visit your CloudFest Account and enter your data in the appropriate section: the letter will be generated automatically.

Yes, you can do that through your CloudFest Account. Be sure to always use a business email address, though!

Yes—but register quickly! We keep a strictly limited number of Community Passes available for university or graduate students. While this is a B2B event, we also believe that those wishing to build a career in the Cloud would learn a lot at CloudFest Global! The program at CloudFest Global is geared towards a professional audience, so you would need some understanding of how cloud computing and internet infrastructure work—otherwise you will feel rather lost! When registering as a student, put your university in the Company field and your course of study in the Job Title field. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old to attend any CloudFest event. Please note that students may only attend on the final day of CloudFest Global for 2027, that’s March 18.

CloudFest passes are not refundable, and can only be used for the year in which they were purchased. This is why we encourage attendees to make their travel plans early—and to make sure that their friends don’t plan any big events or parties to take place at the same time as CloudFest Global!

You can delete your account by visiting your CloudFest Account settings.

“CloudFest Global” is still the CloudFest you know and love. We added that extra word to differentiate it from the overall CloudFest experience, which covers CloudFest Global, CloudFest Americas, MSP GLOBAL, and NamesCon. The overall CloudFest name also includes our online workshops, pop-up leadership summits, and publications.
