Capture the Flag

CloudFest hosts an elite Capture the Flag competition, where top ethical hackers go head-to-head hunting elusive code and competing for prizes. The action takes place in the HackerSpace, alongside a hands-on, technical cybersecurity program.

What is CTF?

Capture the Flag (CTF) is a coding competition based around cybersecurity. Competitors solve security-related challenges to find “flags”, which are hidden strings of data. It’s simple: find the flags the fastest, and you win. We’ll be sharing more tournament-structure details as we approach the event, so watch this space.

Who is Competing?

This competition is for anyone who wants to see if they have what it takes to hack quickly and accurately under pressure. If you’ve played CTF before, you know what to expect, and if it’s your first time… buckle up!

Access to CTF and The HackerSpace is included in your full access to CloudFest 2026, which runs March 23-26. The CTF will be set up alongside a technical session stage in The HackerSpace, located in Europa-Parks Hotel Santa Isabel.

If you want to show off your ethical hacking skills—or prove that you can play with the big kids—then this is the eSport for you.

Technically Speaking…

The HackerSpace will feature a technical session stage, offering practical talks and panels by and for CISOs, CTOs, MSPs, CSPs, and anyone interested in the ethical hacking space.

There will be plenty to experience as the hackers get to work:

  • Multi-Factor Authentication for the New Internet
  • How to Make Bug Bounties Profitable
  • The Future of Pen-Testing
  • Defusing the SBOM: Navigating the New Compliance Landscape
