First of all, mark your calendar now: Monday, March 15, 2027.
The Heart Of The Open Web
The CloudFest team has designed a focused one-day event for the people who build—and build upon—the open web. This is a results-oriented gathering where win-win partnerships are born. CloudFest Open Web Summit is where community power drives your business forward.
Here’s why this is the one Monday of the year you don’t want to miss.
Something is changing—and It’s more than just a new name
For three years, this “CloudFest Monday” was the place where WordPress agencies, hosters, and CSPs got real about growth. In 2027, we’re going bigger, better, and bolder: Same day, same energy, same community magic, now for every business building on the open, interoperable web.
Where business actually happens
Forget passive keynotes and cold booth traffic. The Open Web Summit is built around one idea: put the right people in the same room for one full day, with nowhere else to be—and let real business happen.
If you’re a web agency, that means the practical, unglamorous stuff that actually grows a business: pricing that scales, hiring, AI adoption, client acquisition. Not theory. In 2026, it was the agency-focused sessions that packed out fastest—proof that this is exactly the content this audience shows up for. In 2027, we’re doubling down.
If you’re a partner, it means something rarer than another logo wall: you’re connecting with a curated crowd of web professionals and agencies actively looking for the tools, hosting, and platforms that’ll power their next project. New formats—business roundtables, partner office hours, dedicated networking activities—are built to drive valuable conversations, not just passive foot traffic past a booth.
And it all happens inside the magical, slightly surreal buzz of Europa-Park’s resort hotels, where speakers, partners, and attendees are together from morning keynote to festival-lit evening—leading straight into CloudFest Global.
How we got here
This Summit started as a single WordPress-focused half-day in 2024, became a full-day Monday event for WordPress businesses and agencies in 2025, and then grew into the two-stage WP [Business & Agency] Summit in 2026;where 1155 open web professionals showed up and proved the format’s tremendous success—as well as its tremendous potential.
Along the way, we heard the same thing over and over, from solo builders and enterprise teams alike: the best web projects are rarely built on WordPress alone. They come alive through other CMS platforms, proprietary (headless) tools, hosting infrastructure, and custom stacks—built by teams who solve problems with whatever combination actually works.
So that’s exactly why 2027 is going bigger, better, and bolder—evolving with and beyond WordPress.
Still WordPress. Just not only WordPress.
WordPress remains the heart of this event. What’s changing is who else is coming. TYPO3, Joomla!, Drupal, and the wider open-source CMS world now share the same space, on equal footing, because they’ve been solving the same problems all along. Other web-native platforms like Wix and Squarespace are invited too, because they’re built for the open web, not a walled garden.
For agencies specifically, that’s not a dilution: it’s an expansion of who you’ll find to partner with, learn from, and sell to.
Why it has to be Europa-Park
You won’t find this experience anywhere else: a self-contained resort where every speaker, partner, and attendee is in the same place, with nowhere else to be. Real conversations happen between sessions, over lunch, in the lobby against a whimsical backdrop—seriously, have you seen this place?!
This is what connection should feel like: in-person, curated, ROI-focused—and it comes with festival-strength evening energy once the sun goes down.
The bottom line
Whether you’re here to sharpen how you run your agency, meet your next hosting or SaaS partner, or just explore the wider ecosystem—if you are an open web professional, this is the one day to be at Europa-Park.
Monday, March 15, 2027. CloudFest Open Web Summit. Be there.
Avoid a manic Monday: Get here Sunday
Pro tip from people who’ve watched this event fill up three years running: don’t land Monday morning! You’ll spend your first hours catching up with people who’ve already been talking for a day.
Come in Sunday evening instead, for the pre-event Welcome Drinks — a returning tradition. Meet a few faces, compare notes, and walk into Monday’s keynote already knowing half the room.
Sunday, March 14, 2027 | Evening (exact time & details TBA: Oh, we’ll let you know)
